I wish you all a happy July 4th Independence Day. God has given us a chance to celebrate another year to live with rights and freedom. Today we enjoy the freedom which, through innumerable lives, shed their blood for the independence of this country. Let us remember their sacrifice and dedication on this day and pay homage to them. God bless America.
Also it is time to come back to Church after one year. It is time to bring our younger generation into the Church. Young parents kindly insist your children take part witnessing Christ on his salvation journey. They are the future of our Catholic community. Breaking the word of God, reception of the Eucharist, and community petitions and prayers and trust in God are very important parts as they grow in this world of fantasy.
June 26, 2021 Bishop William Callahan announced that attending Sunday Mass and Holy Days is obligatory. The dispensation is lifted now. Once again we get the chance to gather in our Parish Church to offer Holy Mass in full participation as one flock. For the past one year due to Covid-19 we were in crisis with facing social distancing, face masks, limited attendance and so much more. We need to thank God for protecting our lives though many of our closer ones have gone to eternal rest.
Let us renew our strength and show our faith and trust in God. May God bless America!
