Gifts of stocks, bonds and other appreciated real property, retirement plan asset contributions, life insurance policy contributions, life income contributions are also well suited for chartiable gifting. No matter how you choose to support your parish Endowment Trust Fund, your gift will help meet the needs of the present and also ensure the parish's future. Everyone Should Consider A Will
Young and old, married or single, children or not, you should make a will so that assets you own at death are passed on according to your wishes. A little planning can help all of us make wise use of what we have accumulated over a lifetime. The result: Good stewardship of your resources and a welcome, living testimonial of your concern. There are several ways to make a gift to your parish, with a specific sum of money, as a percentage of your estate, as a contingent (alternative) beneficiary, through a trust. Most such provisions do not complicate or burden your will-making or its probate. Consult an attorney about the necessary legal steps.
